The Difference
Why owners choose an independent firm
Principal-run
Your mandate is led by the person you met. No franchise layer, no hand-offs, no phone-tree brokerage.
One side, exclusively
We never represent both sides of a transaction. It is why sellers confide and buyers compete.
Confidential by design
Information is released in stages, under NDA, only to financially qualified parties. A permanent policy, not a request.
FAQ
Common questions, answered plainly
Are you a franchise or an independent firm?
An independent, principal-owned firm. You work with the people who run the firm — there is no franchise layer, no desk staff pitching deals, no hand-off to a junior associate at the critical moment.
What size businesses do you represent?
We focus on established businesses from roughly $1M to $15M+ in value — the segment where owners most need institutional discipline and least often receive it.
Do you handle both buyers and sellers in the same deal?
No. We represent one side per transaction exclusively. This is a hard rule, and it is why both buyers and sellers trust the process.
What does a typical engagement cost?
Sell-side: a modest engagement fee offset against a success fee on consideration. Buy-side: no cost to the buyer. Every fee is written, explicit, and agreed before work begins.
How do you source buyers?
A curated network of 2,400+ qualified buyers — SBA searchers, cash buyers, family offices, strategic acquirers — screened for funding and intent before they ever see a company name.
Can you help with financing?
We structure and coordinate financing — SBA 7(a), conventional, seller notes — alongside buyers and their lenders, and we are candid about what will and will not fund at any deal size.
